Third-year player Jim Cordle probably will make his first NFL start, replacing Baas. James Brewer, who got his first career start in the season opener when Boothe filled in for Baas, is expected to take over for Snee.
Baas said he would be willing to make the trip just to coach Cordle on the sideline.
There is an outside chance 11-year veteran David Diehl might play this weekend. He had thumb surgery six weeks ago and returned to practice on a limited basis this week. He has been listed as doubtful.
Coughlin announced Friday that four-time Pro Bowl guard Chris Snee and center David Baas are listed as out for the game against the undefeated Chiefs (3-0) along with cornerback Corey Webster.
Snee has a hip problem, though not the same one he had surgically repaired in the offseason. Baas, who missed the season opener with a knee injury, has a neck problem. He hurt it against Denver on Sept. 15 and aggravated it last week in a 38-0 loss to Carolina that dropped New York to 0-3.
Receiver Victor Cruz believes the offense will respond this week, despite the injuries.
NOTES: This will be the second straight game Webster has missed with a hip injury. Aaron Ross started for him last week and had an interception. He also was beaten on two touchdown passes by Cam Newton. ... LB Jacquain Williams (knee) is questionable for Sunday, while LB Spencer Paysinger, CB Terrell Thomas and DL Justin Trattou (ankle) are probable.

Since taking over the Giants in 2004, Coughlin has never had to put his trust in such in inexperienced group. The closest was his first year. Snee won the right guard job as a rookie and Diehl was moved to right tackle in his second season after starting 16 games at right guard as a rookie.
