WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration is considering ways to fix the problems in supporting moderate Syrian rebels in the fight the Islamic State or Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Syria, the Pentagon said Wednesday.

Pentagon press secretary Peter Cook offered no information on how the program could possibly be revamped, but informed reporters that Protection Secretary Ash Carter still thinks schooling and equipping moderate Syrian rebels and sending them into fight against ISIS is the correct strategy.
