Carmel has been dealing with tragedy. Leading rusher Shakir Paschall's father,Maillot Psg Pas Cher, Eric, passed away the night of the Greyhounds' semistate victory over Penn. Eric Paschall was an assistant coach for Wright's first state championship team at Warren Central in 2003. Having a football game to look forward to has helped Carmel's program heal.
